Micromax forays into PC market with Canvas Lapbook L1161 for 13,999 INR

The desi mobile manufacturer Micromax is now testing new waters by entering into laptop segment by launching Canvas Lapbook L1161 in India. The maker is expecting to gain 10 percent market share in the coming months.canvas-lapbook-main

The Lapbook sports an 11.6 inch HD IPS screen along with 32GB of onboard storage and a quad-core Intel Atom processor which could clock up to 1.83GHz (burst mode). For the operating system, Micromax has trusted upon Windows 10, which is quite a rage these days. As per company claims, 5000 mAh battery inside should deliver up to 11 hours of backup.

The device comes with an expansion slot to expand storage up to 64GB. Alongside this, the Lapbbook comes with two USB 2.0 port which could be used to plug-in external hard disk or thumb drive to further augment storage. On the connectivity part, it comes with an HDMI port, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. The all new Lapbook weighs around 1.3 kg and will be exclusively available on Snapdeal for 13,999 INR.
