Micromax Dual 5 with Triple 13MP cameras and 4GB RAM Launched At Rs. 24,999

The Dual Camera phones are now coming thick and fast. The latest to join this dual camera phenomenon is Micromax. The Indian Smartphone manufacturer has launched its first dual camera phone – the Micromax Dual 5 at an event today.

The Micromax Dual 5 (E4815) comes with a full metal unibody metal design. It boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1920x1080p resolution. Micromax has relied on an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset for heavy lifting which is aided by Adreno 510 GPU, 128GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM. The phone offers 128GB of built-in storage, that can be further bumped up using a microSD card.

Capture

The primary camera is the real highlight of the phone. It packs a dual 13-megapixel shooter at the back with LED flash and PDAF. One of these is a monochrome sensor that can gather more light and the other is a standard RGB one. The camera software combines the data collected from both sensors to enhance details.

On the front, there is another 13-megapxiel snapper with soft LED flash and F/2.0 aperture to capture self-portraits.

Micromax Dual 5 Price

The Micromax Dual 5 features a fingerprint scanner mounted right below the dual camera assembly. The sensor stores all sensitive biometric and other data securely in a separate chip.

It comes with a 3200mAh battery, fast charging support and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based customized UI. You can buy Micromax Dual 5 from offline stores and Flipkart starting from 24,999 INR.
