Xiaomi ‘Superphone’ Mi 11 Ultra is here with Mi 11X Pro and Mi 11X

Xiaomi has launched its much-anticipated smartphones from the Mi 11-lineup in India. The three new mobile phone models include Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X Pro, and Mi 11X. The company took to an online event to launch the phones alongside its biggest TV in the country called Mi QLED TV 75.

Xiaomi is promoting the Mi 11 Ultra as a ‘superphone’ and it had globally debuted back in the month of March. While the other two devices i.e. Mi 11X Pro and Mi 11X are rebranded versions of Redmi K40 Pro+ and Redmi K40 respectively and had launched in China, also in March. Anyhow now that the phones are here in the country, let’s take a look at what they bring forth.

Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X Pro, and  Mi 11X Price & Availability

  • Mi 11 Ultra 12GB + 256GB: Rs. 69,999 (Sale date is not yet revealed)
  • Mi 11X Pro 8GB + 256GB: Rs. 41,999 (Sale from April 24)
  • Mi 11X Pro 8GB + 128GB: Rs. 39,999 (Sale from April 24)
  • Mi 11X 8GB + 128GB: Rs. 31,999 (Sale from April 27)
  • Mi 11X 6GB + 128GB: Rs. 29,999 (Sale from April 27)

The phones will retail through Mi.com, Mi Stores, and Flipkart from the aforementioned dates. Now, let’s discuss the specs of the Xiaomi new mobile phones.

Mi 11 Ultra Highlights

The Mi 11 Ultra gets a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 1700 nits. The phone has a hole punch on the upper left corner with a 20MP front camera inside. Mi 11 Ultra is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 888 5G chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. 

The Mi 11 Ultra boasts a triple rear camera system including a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 main sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 48MP Sony IMX586 telephoto lens. The phone offers 5x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 55W both wired and wireless charging and 10W reverse charge support.

Now a standout feature of the phone is its rear display. Yeah, there is a 1.1-inch secondary AMOLED touch-screen panel on the back. The rear display is meant to see notifications, control music, and even record videos using rear cameras.

Mi 11X Pro Highlights 

The Mi 11X Pro ships with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness. The phone has triple rear cameras with a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. There is a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 5G processor, up to 12GB RAM, and 512GB internal storage. The battery capacity is a 4520mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging.

Mi 11X Highlights

The Mi 11X gets the same display, front camera, and battery as its elder sibling Mi 11x Pro. The phone is, however, powered by Snapdragon 870 5G chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. On the back, the 11X includes a 48MP rear camera with an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 5MP macro sensor.
