Meizu is another Chinese smartphone brand with its startup efforts to set its foot in the smartphone market. We have already had a face-off with the flagship smartphone Meizu MX4 and another smartphone Meizu M1 Note. Though the early stage launches by the brand could not bring much glory outside China, but regular efforts by the company might just be what it exactly needs at the moment. AS per the latest reports, Meizu will have a surprising June for its customers. Next flagship device, Meizu MX5 launch will be held on June 30, 2015 and the successor to M1 Note, Meizu M1 Note 2 launch will be executed on June 2, 2015.

Meizu M1 Note 2 features a 5.5 inch full HD display as in the predecessor M1 Note1, which will be guarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added security against physical damages. The headline of the device is made by the fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button below the display. M1 Note 2 is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek processor paired up with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB and 32 GB in built memory variants with no external memory card slot, which could be a disadvantage. Note 2 sports a 13 MP auto focus rear facing primary camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing camera for effective selfies and video calling.

Meizu M1 Note 2 Specifications

  • 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek processor
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 5.5 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3
  • 16/32 GB in built memory space

The two new launches by the new Chinese brand could give it the jump start it needs to get some competitive quotient. Meizu M1 Note 2 price is expected to be higher than the $160 price tag of M1 Note.
