Meizu has taken wraps off from the M5 Note at event in China. The new budget phablet offers more or less specification which is similar to its predecessor – the m3 Note. This latest offering from Meizu comes in Sky Gray, Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver, and Glacier Blue color options. It goes on sale on December 8 in China.
The Meizu M5 note flaunts an all metal body. Just like its predecessor, it gets a 2.5D curved glass on the top of the display which gives it a premium look. The back features traditional antenna bands on both top and bottom for improved signal receptions. On the specification front, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 450 nits maximum brightness, and 403ppi pixel density. Under the hood, it employees MediaTek’s Helio P10 chipset coupled with 3GB /4GB of RAM. Meizu is offering this new phone in 16GB/ 32GB /64GB of storage options with addition microSD card support up to 128GB.
The optics of the phone remains the same as its predecessor. It bears a 13-megapixel Sony sensor coupled with PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter present on the phone. Meizu has embedded a fingerprint sensor in the multi-purpose home button which also act as a back button. As per company claims, it can unlock the phone in less than 0.2 seconds.
In terms of connectivity options, it includes dual-SIM (hybrid) slot, 4G VoLTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth as well as GPS. It is backed by a capacious 4000 mAh battery which this time supports fast charging. As per Meizu, the bundled 18W charger which can tank up the M5 Note battery from 0 – 100 in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The Meizu M5 Note 16GB ROM with 3GB RAM variant is priced at 899 Yuan (approx. Rs. 8880). For the M5 Note 32GB storage with 3GB RAM variant, one has to pay 999 Yuan (approx Rs. 9870). If you have plans to buy Meizu M5 Note with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage then you will have to shell out 1499 Yuan (approx. Rs. 14,810).
