LG X Power2 With 4500mAh Battery Global Rollout Begins

LG, a South Korean conglomerate, showcased its mid-range big battery phone X Power2 before it went on to announce it flagship G6 at MWC 2017.After missing the initial roll out date in March, LG has finally started global roll out of the device starting with the North America. The phone will soon land in Asia, Europe, Latin America and other regions too.

As the name suggest, the main USP of the phone is its larger than usual battery size. The LG X power2 comes with a 4500 mAh battery packed inside. Based on the company, the phone can deliver 26 hours of talk time and 18 hours of video playback and 19 hours of web browsing. LG also claims that the phone can tank up to 50 percent battery in an hour and 100 percent in two hours.

The LG X power2 houses a 5.5-inch HD IN-cell touch display that has 720 x 1280pixel of running resolution. It enthralls on an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which cab be bumped up to 2TB using a microSD card.

For shutterbugs, the LG X Power2 features a 13-megapixel rear camera assisted by LED flash. Up front, it flaunts a 5-megapixel sensor with soft light flash for better selfies in low light. The selfie camera also supports Auto Shot and Gesture Interval Shot which captures image using facial recognition or gesture recognition.

The LG X power2 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 and USB OTG as connectivity options. The smartphone will be offered in Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold, and Shiny Blue colour hues. The pricing of the is yet to be revealed.
