LG has brought its K series smartphones – K7 and K10 to India. The Company introduced K-series as successor of L-series in January 2016 at Las Vegas. At the launch event, Telecom and IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Managing Director LG Electronics India Kim Ki Wan unwrapped the K7 and K10 smartphones. Both these handsets will be first LG smartphones which will be manufactured in India.

The company has competitively priced K7 at Rs. 9,500 and K10 at 13,500 INR. With this aggressive pricing LG is trying to make a place for itself in this highly competitive Indian smartphone market. Both of these budget smartphones flaunts LG’s new glossy pebble design language.
On the hardware front, the LG K10 sports a 5.3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Under the hood, it packs qualcomm chipset with 2GB of RAM. Backed by 2300mAh battery, the phone comes fitted with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The dual SIM phone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage. It measures 146.6×74.8×8.8mm and will be available in White, Indigo, and Gold colours.

On the other hand, the LG K7 houses a 5-inch display with 854×480 pixels resolution. This 4G LTE-enabled smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz Qualcomm chipset and comes with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB on-board storage. The device comes equipped with a 5.0-megapixel shooter at the front and a 5-megapixel primary snapper at rear end. The K7 measures 43.6×72.5×8.9mm, and will retail in Titan, Gold and White colors.

Both the devices runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and are compatible with Indian LTE bands. On common features on both the devices include 2.5D Arc Glass design along with Gesture Shot, Tap and Shot, and Gesture Interval shot function for taking images.
