If there is one LG phone that managed to turn heads in recent times, it’s got to be the LG G8X ThinQ. It made its debut at IFA 2019 and now a few months later, it has launched in India. As given in the title, this one sports a Dual Screen. While the smartphone herd was moving towards the foldable territory, LG took a different route with its design philosophy.

Let’s see how the dual-display concept works here and have a look at the specs while we are into it.

To begin with, the main display is a 6.4-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. But, the highlight reel is the secondary Mono Cover display, which is as the name suggests – a detachable accessory. It resembles the flip covers for our phones but is more than that. The two screens connect via USB and the design is possible thanks to a 360 Freestop Hinge mechanism. This opens up viewing at various angles like 0, 104° and 180°.
