LG G5 To Dock On Indian Shores In Q2 2016

For all those folks in India who are itching to lay their hands on LG G5, there is some good news for them. LG in an official statement stated that it will bring its latest flagship – G5 in India in the second quarter of 2016. The Korean Manufacturer’s G5 is the latest fascination for most of the tech geeks thanks to innovative design and refreshing features.

LG received a warm response for its G5 at Mobile World Congress 2016 (A total of 33 Awards). The LG has come with a brand new modular design for this flagship smartphone. G5 flaunts an innovating Modular Type uni-body design with an option to slide-out Battery tray. LG has also garnered everyone’s attention with its Always on display which consumes only 0.8 percent power in an hour. Apart from this, LG has also introduced swappable smart devices for LG 5, which it calls Friends. For now, thought out accessories includes LG 360 VR, LG 360 CAM, LG Rolling Bot, LG Tone PlatinumTM, H3 by B&O PLAY, LG Smart Controller and LG Friends Manager.

To recall, LG G5 was the first device to be launched on the sidelines of MWC 2016 which is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4Gigs of RAM. Up front, it houses a 5.3-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum Display with 2560 x 1440 resolution with 554ppi. For photography fanatics, G5 smartphone wears a dual camera setup at the back which includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapxel wide angle sensor. Just above the display, G5 features an 8-megapxiel selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone comes fitted with a 2800mAh swappable battery. It runs on Android Marshmallow and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C),NFC and Bluetooth 4.2 as connectivity options.

Announcing the launch of LG G5 next quarter, Mr Amit Gujral, Marketing Head – Mobiles, LG India, said “We are really happy to see all the positivity around the LG G5 ever since its global unveil at the MWC. In fact, in a survey conducted in Korea the LG G5 topped consumer preference leaving its closest competitors trailing far behind.
