Lenovo P2 With 5100 mAh to Launch In India Soon

Lenovo India is soon going to expand its P Series with the launch of Lenovo P2. The USP of P-series has been big battery phones and its won’t be any different with the P2. It is the same phone which was first revealed at IFA 2016 as Vibe P2. It boasts a massive 5100 mAh battery which offers 78 hours of talk time as per the company claims.

Lenovo published a teaser from its official Twitter account, “How often do you your way because of low phone battery? Travel fearlessly with the longest lasting battery #LenovoP2 #Powerhouse coming soon”

However, the company hasn’t announced a launch date yet. It is going to be Lenovo’s first smartphone launch in 2017. The phone will come with a metal finish plastic back with a side frame carved out of metal. The overall design of the phone is inspired by its predecessor.

As far as specifications are concerned, Lenovo P2 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset ticking up to 2 GHz. It gets 4Gigs of  RAM and 32GB storage, which is expandable to another 128 GB.

For shutterbugs, the Lenovo P2 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the home button. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Pure UI.  The smartphone is likely to come in gold and gray color options.

The phone supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS  as the connectivity options. As of now, Lenovo P2 price in India is kept under wraps but it is likely to be priced below Rs. 15,000.
