Lenovo is making its re-entry in the Indian market after a long break. Though Lenovo’s sub-brand Moto has been relatively active, Lenovo itself has not launched any phone with the Lenovo label after the K8 that released last year. Today, Lenovo has launched two new phone namely Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5, both aiming at the entry-level market.
Lenovo K9 Features
The Lenovo K9 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass on both front and back. It is powered by Helio P22 Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. Lenovo K9 has an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded using a microSD card. The interesting point to look out for in this phone is its dual camera setup on the front and rear. This phone features a 13MP primary + 5MP secondary camera on the rear and a similar 13MP + 5MP sensor setup on the front as well. This is a quite interesting feature to note keeping in view the price tag it holds.

It can be unlocked using the fingerprint sensor placed at the back or with the face unlock feature. This phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3000mAh battery. Lenovo K9 supports 10W Fast charging through a USB Type-C port. It comes in two colors: Balck and Blue and is available for a price of Rs.8,999. This phone is sold as a Flipkart exclusive.
Lenovo A5 Features
The Lenovo A5 sports a smaller 5.45-inch HD+ display. The phone has an aluminum case and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. Lenovo A5 has MediaTek MT6739 chipset under the hood. It comes in two variants, with the highest variant boasting a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while the other variant featuring a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Both the variants have a dedicated slot to expand memory till 256GB with the help of a micoSD card.

The phone has a 13MP primary shooter on the rear and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. This phone also includes the fingerprint sensor and face-unlock features. The 2GB + 16GB variant is priced at Rs.5,999 while the 3GB + 32GB variant has been given a price tag of Rs.6,999 . Just like the K9, the Lenovo A5 will also be a Flipkart exclusive in India.
