Lenovo unveils Yoga laptops, ThinkBooks, Smart Tabs, Motorola One Zoom and more at IFA 2019

Lenovo has stepped into the IFA 2019 stage with all guns blazing. The company has gushed a galore of products including laptops from its Yoga and ThinkBook lineup, Google Assistant-enabled Smart Display, Smart Tabs, and two new phones from their Motorola arm. The new phones are Motorola One Zoom and Moto E6 Plus.

Let’s begin with the laptops.

Lenovo Yoga C940

Lenovo Yoga C940 is a 15.6-inch 2-in-1 convertible with an all-metal body. It is equipped with TrueBlock Privacy shutter for webcams, Windows Hello biometric authentication, and garaged pen with silo charging and Windows Ink.

Rotating speaker

It brandishes an Intelligent Cooling Mode, which can be triggered by pressing Function-Q. The display is a UHD panel with Dolby Vision support. Speaking of which, you also get a Rotating Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos Speaker System. It is available in Iron Grey and Mica colors.

You also get Alexa support on the lock screen and Super Resolution, a feature to upscale videos up to FHD 1080p on Windows Media Player. Coming to the core specs, it is powered by up to 9th-Gen Core i9 processors with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics. Notably, it is WiFi 6 complaint. There is a smaller 14-inch model with a watered-down spec sheet.

Next up, we have laptops from Lenovo ThinkBook series.

Lenovo ThinkBook 15 and 14

The ThinkBook 15 and 14 ships with 10th Gen Intel Core processors, coupled with PCIe SSD storage aided by the Intel Optane Memory H10 memory acceleration along with DDR4 RAM modules. It is also equipped with ThinkShield, which is their proprietary customizable security platform.

Additionally, Lenovo took the veil off their 27-inch QHD Q27q monitor, 24-inch FHD Q24i monitor and 28-inch 4K UHD ThinkVision S28u-10 Monitor.

The former two brings dual 3W speakers, TÜV Rhineland Eye Comfort certification for reducing eye fatigue, and support the Radeon FreeSync technology for gaming.

As for the Lenovo ThinkVision S28u-10 monitor covers over 99 percent sRGB and 90-percent DCI-P3 color spectrum.

Lenovo showcased its range of tablets with Yoga Smart Tab and Smart Tab M8 tablets, Smart Display 7 at the IFA 2019. The former two are augmented by Google Assistant’s Ambient mode.

Last but not least, IFA witnessed the debut of Motorola One Zoom and Moto E6 Plus smartphones. One Zoom focusses on camera capabilities with a 48MP primary camera sensor, roomed with a dedicated 8MP telephoto and 16MP ultra-wide-angle lenses. It packs a 4000 mAh battery supporting TurboPower charging. Upfront, you get a 6.4-inch Full HD OLED display with an under-screen fingerprint reader. It will be available in Electric Gray, Cosmic Purple, and Brushed Bronze colors.
