In between all the questions raised about LeEco’s future in the country, the Chinese Internet company, unlike its character, has quietly launched its Super4 series of Smart Televisions in India. The Super4 EcoTVs are offered in three different models – the Super4 X40 (Full HD), Super4 X43 Pro (4K TV) and the Super4 X50 Pro (4K TV).

All the newly launched TVs boast of HDR10 technology, which is quickly becoming popular as it offers improved contrast, excellent dynamic range with vibrant colors.

Like the company’s previous generation of smart TVs, the Super4 Series too is powered by its own EUI software which is based on the aging Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The Dolby DTS surround audio and connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1, WiFI 802.11ac and USB 3.0 ports are common in all three models.

Amongst the three of them, only the ‘Pro’ models have 4K Ultra HD panels. The Super4 X43 Pro employs a 1.7 GHz QuadCore MStar 6A938 CPU alongside 3Gigs of RAM and 16GB ROM.

The Super4 X50, on the other hand, is powered by the same MStar CPU with 3GB RAM and 32GB of ROM. The Super4 X50Pro is the only TV from the new additions to support 3D and features Harman Kardon speakers (10Wx2) as well.

Both models come with 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports as standard connectivity options. There’s a 2-year warranty across all the three models.

If you compare it to the Super3 Series which made its Indian debut last year, LeEco, instead of going with the super-sized 55-inch and 65-inch large screens, has decided to opt for a tad smaller-sized 40-inch, 43-inch, and 50-inch models this time around.

The Super4 X40 is priced at Rs. 42,490, whereas the Super4 X43 Pro will cost Rs. 57,490 and the biggest of them all, the Super4 X50 Pro, is priced at Rs 78,490. Additionally, the company is also offering special launch offers with 10% cashback included.

Off-late, LeEco has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. From internal email leaks to workforce layoffs, the company has faced a lot of bad press in the recent times. Despite all these issues, the company continues to remain upbeat and says it is not leaving India and will continue to launch new products in the country.

What is the guarantee that the TV will be repaired within 2 years. My Earphone is with them for more than 3 months for repair or replacement, but nothing is happening. They are just buying time to sell their unsold products, before they Quit India. I have Le1s too which is fotunately performing well, but if anything happens, it will be at the mercy of GOD.
