Chinese internet company LeEco, which has been in the news for all the wrong reasons recently, has wrapped off its LeEco Pro 3 AI Edition smartphone in its homeland. This is not exactly out of the blue as last in November it appeared on TENAA certification and has been making regular appearances ever since.

As the name suggest, the USP of the LeEco Pro 3 AI edition is the virtual assistant called LeLe (clearly LeEco isn’t taking India expansion as seriously anymore) which works via voice commands like Google Now and Apple Siri. The LeLe assistant supports certain LeEco’s apps and some third-party apps. Apart from this, there is a dual camera setup at the back.

One with Helio X23 SoC and 32GB storage and the other with Helio X27 with 64GB storage. However, both variants come with 4gigs of RAM.

As far as optics are concerned, it boasts a 13-megapixel dual-camera setup (RGB+ Monochrome) with f/2.0, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), and dual-LED flash. It can also shoot 4K videos. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 76.5-degree wide-angle lens.

The dual SIM phone comes running on the EUI 6.0 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. For connectivity, it supports LTE, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, IR, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

LeEco Le Pro 3: Pricing & Availability

The LeEco Pro 3 AI edition based variant is priced for CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 16,864), whereas the premium model costs CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs.22,488). The LeLe enabled phone is offered in Gold, Rose Gold, and Black hues. While its pre-booking goes live today in China, it is unlike to head towards India anytime soon.
