Lava Launches V2s Selfie Centric Smartphone With 2GB RAM for Rs. 7,899

Indian Smartphone manufacturer Lava‘s selfie-centric smartphone V2s gets listed for sale on online retailers in India, prior to its official launch. The handset is currently retailing at Rs. 7,899 INR on Amazon.in and IndiatimeShopping.

This V-Series smartphone comes equipped with a 5-inch IPS display with 720×1280 pixels HD resolution and 294ppi pixel density. Under the hood, Lava V2s features a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC ticking at 1GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2Gigs of RAM. The device comes with 8GB of onboard storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lolipop however, but the OS is upgradeable to Marshmallow.

The USP of this phone is its optics department. The Lava V2s flaunts an 8-megapixel camera with single flash at the front and a similar camera with dual LED flash at the rear for photography enthusiasts.
