Finally, after a long wait, Reliance Jio has taken one more step towards technological advance with the launch of its first virtual reality (VR) headset named JioDive. The gadget ensures the users to let them watch the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2023 on a virtual 100-inch screen coupled with a 360-degree view of the stadium. All the users can also stream other kinds of videos on the platform for a one-of-a-kind experience.

In simple terms, JioDive is a virtual reality headset that works with JioCinema applications. The device offers multiple languages along with different camera angles. The headset is a crucial step towards Jio’s vision of introducing mixed reality experiences to customers. It is also being said that more mixed reality devices and applications by Jio are lined up for the future.

The JioDive VR headset is exclusively rolled out for Jio users to let them stream TATA IPL on JioCinema on a 100-inch virtual screen. The headset comes with support for iOS and Android smartphones, along with display sizes ranging from 4.7 inches to 6.7 inches. In addition, the device should also have an Android 9 operating system and above or iOS 15 and above.

Not only this but the headset ships with adjustable lenses with side and center wheels for producing sharper images and optical comfort. It also has a click button for smooth interaction in VR and a three-way adjustable strap for apt fitting. In order to watch the TATA IPL 2023 matches on JioDive, the users are supposed to install the JioImmerse application on their smartphones. The device works completely well with smartphones from Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Nokia, Poco, and others.

The JioDive VR headset is available in the Indian market for Rs 1,299. The device is only available in a single black color option. All the users who want to purchase the product can buy it from the official website of Jio or JioMart.
