itel Launches 4G VoLTE-enabled it1518 Budget Phone, Features Quad-core Chipset and 2GB RAM

itel, a subsidiary of the smartphone manufacturing company Transsion Holding, kick-starts its new year with the launch of it1518 in the Indian market.

The it1518 is a budget smartphone features under the company’s Selfie Pro series. It comes with a textured body alongside a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720p pixels resolution. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with a 2GB RAM.

The itel it1518 is made available in three colors (Black, White and Champagne) and features an in-built storage capacity of 8GB which can be further extended to a maximum of 128GB via a microSD card.

As far as the camera department is concerned, the phone features an an 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP one on its front. The other features of the camera setup in the it1518 include a 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture. Other than that, the phone packs a 2,500mAH battery and offers unlimited network accessibility with 4G VoLTE connectivity.

The phone has been brought out into the market by the company at a price of Rs. 7,550/- though its availability remains a subject of speculation. Since itel has been known to cater to the offline market, it is expected that the it1518 would be available in that sector of the market only.

But, nothing can be confirmed until the company lets a word out regarding the same.
