OnePlus has been in the news for all the wrong reasons for the last few weeks with Nord series smartphones exploding one after the other. One more incident has surfaced wherein a Twitter user from India has claimed that his OnePlus Nord CE smartphone has exploded.

A Twitter user named Dushyant Goswami shared some images of his exploded OnePlus Nord CE smartphone. He claims it exploded while he was pulling it out of his pocket along with adding that the device was just 6 months old.

He shared the incident on LinkedIn too, but now the posts have been taken down by him as he claims that OnePlus has promised him a fresh new unit of the smartphone. In the original post, he had claimed, “I own phone from very popular brand ONEPLUS which promises the best quality. My phone is only 6 months old and it blasted yesterday, while I just pulled it out from my pocket. It’s not only bad but fatal. Is brand gonna answerable 4 the accident?”

Following which he posted-

“Thank you, everyone, for the support yesterday at 8 pm OnePlus team called me and promised me that they will send a new unit by Tuesday.”

This post has also been deleted now, which does seem the matter to be fishy. But if what the user claims is true, then it is the first time that OnePlus has offered a new unit as a replacement for an exploded smartphone.

He had posted images too along with the text which showcased completely damaged smartphones from the front and back. All the major parts of the device, including the battery, display, and camera were all destroyed.
