iQoo could soon drop another bomb in the Indian smartphone industry. Latest leaks suggest that the brand is going to bring a new device, iQOO 9T, in India. It is almost confirmed that the smartphone will make its debut in India via Amazon. As we can see in the listing, the smartphone looks quite identical to the iQOO 10 Pro that is going to launch soon.

Through this, we can say that iQoo is on the way to following its siblings’ rebranding game. The rear panel of the device is teased in the Amazon listing. It will have a triple rear camera setup in a rectangular camera module with flashes placed below the sensors. The variant that has been teased in the listing is the BMW edition.

What can we get to see?

Though there is no certain information regarding the specifications and features of the smartphone. However, the rumours regarding the device have already given us an idea of what we can get to see.

The iQOO 9T could ship with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display accompanied by a 120Hz refresh rate. High speculation is that it will get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor along with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

In terms of optics, the device may flaunt a triple rear camera setup comprising a 60MP primary shooter, 12MP secondary shooter, and a 12MP tertiary shooter.

On the front, we can get to see a 16MP snapper for capturing the best selfies and participating in video calls. It might be powered by a 4700mAh battery along with 120W fast charging support.

Closest competitors

The smartphone will be competing in the Indian market with the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro. We can say that the iQOO device will be priced somewhere above Rs 70,000 in the Indian market. Furthermore, it will also compete with the OnePlus 10T, that will most probably reach India by the end of the third quarter of 2022.

As for the rebadging of the handset, maybe iQoo chose to do that because it wants to continue the legacy of launching a major series once a year. Like they did iQOO 9 series this year, and most probably, we will get to see the official iQOO 10 series next year.
