Apple’s Hi, Speed event was virtually presented from Apple Park, Cupertino. The company chief Tim Cook kicked off the event with the unveiling of the HomePod mini. We got to see 4 new iPhones including the 5.4″ iPhone 12 mini. The new iPhones bring 5G capability, improved camera performance, faster processing power, and more.
Here’s a quick rundown of the event. Take a look —
HomePod mini
The newest addition to Apple’s audio product fam is the HomePod mini. The orb-like device features a backlit touch surface with controls for playback and volume. It is armed with a full-range dynamic driver and two passive radiators for enhanced bass output. There is also an acoustic waveguide to disperse 360-degree sound.
Inside, it has the proprietary S5 chip for “computational audio” that promises better loudness and dynamic range. The HomePod minis can detect and seamlessly connect with other minis and nearby iPhones in the room. There is also better integration with Siri, CarPlay, and Homekit. This along with the whole-new Intercom functionality lets you broadcast audio messages throughout the house via the connected iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and CarPlay.
HomePod mini will be available in white and space grey for ₹9,900 from apple.com, and Apple Authorised Resellers.
You can pre-order HomePod mini starting Nov 6.
