Intex Adds To FitRist Smartband Collection, Launches FitRist Cardio

Building on the success of its FitRist smartband, Indian consumer electronics company Intex today added another one to the collection with the launch of the FitRest Cardio smartband.

The high-tech smartband version, aimed at fitness enthusiasts comes in with new features that include a heartrate sensor and heart monitor to track heartbeats and heart activities. With the FitRist Cardio, users also get to schedule their fitness activities whilst keeping a check on the date and time as well.

The device has an 2.18cm-sized OLED display and has support for devices featuring Android 4.4 (and above OS as well as for iOS 7 and above.

It weighs 26grams and comes fitted with a 32KB RAM as well as a 256KB ROM. Also, it is water-resistant and supports Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

The device features instant SMS, WhatsApp and Facebook messenger notifications that are displayed on the screen, and also sends alerts regarding incoming calls. Android users will get call notifications with Callers ID and IOS users will get notifications by the call icon if the contact number is saved on the phone or else it will just display the phone number.

The FitRist Cardio is available in black color and packs in a 80mAh battery that has a self-proclaimed standby time of 7 hours.
