Huawei launched an array of wearables in India on March 12. These include Huawei Watch GT, along with the fitness bands i.e. Huawei Band Pro, and Huawei Band 3e – all three of which were earlier introduced at the global launch of Mate 20-series. The new watch running on Huawei’s proprietary Light OS is lauded to offer better performance and efficiency. It also has a real-time heart rate monitor, is water-resistant, and can track sleep and sports activities.

Huawei Watch GT Highlights

Huawei GT sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 454×454 pixel resolution. The watch is 10.6mm thin and comes in two strap options – a dual-color silicone band and a leather-rubber band. It dons a “dual-crown design” with stainless steel and ceramic bezels and its durability is ensured by a “DLC diamond carbon coating”. It will be available in two options: classic and sports.

The watch is 5ATM water resistant certified as well. Huawei has placed an optical heart rate sensor onboard that uses 6 LEDs and works in tandem with Huawei’s TruSeen 3.0 technology that promises more accurate monitoring.

The company makes big claims about battery endurance as well, and battery management is powered by AI. Huawei Watch GT is touted to provide a two-week life on a single charge with varied usage of heart-rate monitoring and 90-minutes of exercise per week. Furthermore, if the heart rate monitoring is off and the watch is used only for receiving messages and calls, then it could last for 30 days too. The Watch GT battery takes a little over two hours for a complete charge.

Huawei  Watch GT uses a dual-chip architecture that helps in achieving great power efficiency. Under the hood, it also packs 16MB RAM and 128MB ROM. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.2, and NFC though there is no Wi-Fi support. It can be paired with any device running Android 4.4 or later, or iOS 9.0 or later.

Huawei Band 3 Pro

It also offers TruSence 3.0 for accurate heart-rate detection. The Band 3 Pro can be connected with Huawei Health app to keep a tab on your fitness data.

On the surface, it flaunts a 0.95-inch HD AMOLED color touchscreen display with intuitive navigational gestures. As for the battery life, it could supposedly deliver 17 days of regular usage, eight hours of GPS active time, and the standby time could go up to a month.

Huawei Band 3e

This is a lower variant of the Band 3 Pro with its own application and benefits. If you want something more economical at the same time ergonomic, you could go with this one. Huawei Band 3e comes with a new Footwear mode which provides accurate (around 97 percent) running stats with a button press. It tracks this using a built-in 6-Axis Gyroscope based sensor in Footwear mode. Lastly, the wearable is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

Huawei Watch GT, Band 3 Pro, Band 3e price in India

The Watch GT will be available for sale starting March 19th only on Amazon.in. The Huawei Watch GT Classic edition would be available for Rs 16,990 for the Classic Edition while the Sports Edition would cost you Rs 15,990.

There is a limited time offer to get Huawei Sport BT AM61 earphones worth Rs 2,999 free with the watch as well as no-cost EMI options for up to nine months.
