A lot has been going around with Huawei. The Chinese phone maker is on the verge of releasing triple-rear camera setup on the phone with the launch of, Huawei P20 Pro on March 27. Meanwhile, a fresh leak has flown in that says that one of Huawei’s upcoming device will sport a 512GB inbuilt storage.

The leak came from the certification site, TENAA, where the alleged Huawei device was spotted with model number NEO-ALOO. The listing showed the device with 6GB of RAM and 512GB storage. It is unclear whether the handset will be a variant of one of the P20 models (P20, P20 Lite or P20 Pro) or an entirely new phone. But, if Huawei could make that happen, it will set a new benchmark in phone’s storage which until now is set at 256GB.

Officials from Huawei are yet to comment on the development.

Other information about this Huawei’s 512GB storage phone is very scarce. It is to be noted that the firm does not have its own mobile storage production plant, nor does it have the technology to manufacture 512GB memory chips. So it might be possible that Huawei is outsourcing the technology most-likely from Samsung who recently announced mass production of 512GB UFS storage for mobile devices.

Huawei P20 Pro with 512Gb Coming?

That being said, the recent reports indicate that the P20 Pro will come with 6GB RAM and 129GB storage space. If possible the company might unveil a new, Porsche Design,  variant of the same phone, making the Huawei P20 Pro the first device to come with 512GB storage.

Other than this, Huawei’s flagship phone P20 Pro is expected to sport a 40MP+8MP+20MP rear-camera, and feature a 6.1-inch OLED panel with a 1080×2240 resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch, powered by a Kirin 920 processor, and run Android 8.1 Oreo.
