Huawei FreeBuds 3 rumored to launch in India this month

Update: Huawei has confirmed to Smartprix that it is planning to launch the FreeBuds 3 in India later this month and not this week as originally reported. 

Huawei FreeBuds 3 debuted back in September 2019. This noise-cancelling truly wireless pair competes against the crème de la crème i.e., Apple Airpods. While Huawei has not confirmed the Indian launch yet, the latest tweet by reputed tipster claims its imminent release.

In a tweet today, Ishan shared his exclusive knowledge about the upcoming FreeBuds 3 launch in India.

Although he gives a week bracket, the actual launch date is still up in the air. Nonetheless, if any of you are planning of buying TWS earbuds, then you may wait for FreeBuds 3. Here is a quick refresher of its features.

Huawei FreeBuds 3 features

FreeBuds 3 is equipped with dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 (Bluetooth Low Energy). The connectivity is backed by an Isochronous Dual Channel transmission technology.

This is touted as the only Open-fit Active Noise Cancellation Wireless Earbuds in the market. Additionally, there is an option to permeate the voice output during calls.

It also comes with the bone conduction technology, thanks to an inbuilt bone voice sensor that soaks the audio signals more efficiently.

Inside, it has a high-sensitivity 14 mm dynamic driver with a dedicated bass tube for a pronounced warmer tone.

FreeBuds 3 is powered by the Kirin A1 Bluetooth chipset. They vaunt 4 hours of music playback between charges. And when they drain out, place them within the charging case which boasts about 20 hours of extra battery life.

Amongst other features, the FreeBuds 3 also brings gesture-based controls.

Huawei FreeBuds 3 Indian Price and Launch Date

They are expected to hit the Indian stores in Ceramic White and Carbon Black variants. The actual sale and pricing details are still unknown. Once, we get ’em, we will update here.
