The California-based consumer computer manufacturer HP launched its Victus Special Edition laptop in India. Targetted toward college students, the laptop features powerful processors, plenty of RAM for running several apps at once, and a capable GPU for running graphic-intensive apps. Starting from Rs. 65,999, the laptops will be available across all the leading multi-brand outlets and the company’s online and offline stores.

The HP Victus Special Edition laptop has a 15.6-inch IPS screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. Further, the screen has a 7ms response time for accurate movements during video games. Under the hood, the laptop relies on 12th Gen Intel Core processors. Further, the capable chipsets are combined with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3050A GPU with 4GB of VRAM. With the processor, the laptop features up to 16GB of RAM and multiple storage variants.

With a capable GPU, users should be able to run high-end video games with ray tracking. Further, the GPU also provides enough power to use machine learning or AI models. The HP Victus Special Edition laptop features OMEN Tempest Cooling solution and thermopile sensor to ensure optimum performance levels for extended durations.

Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3050A GPU

Powering the laptop is a 70Whr battery that should last up around four to five hours before you’d need to recharge it. Additional features of the laptop include a full-size, backlit keyboard, a large trackpad, and free access to HP Gaming Garage, which is a certification program for esports management. Last but not least, the laptop is available in one color: Atmospheric Blue.

HP Victus Special Edition Price And Availability

The Special Edition laptop from HP will retail from Rs. 65,999 for the baseline variant. However, the RAM and storage specifications for the model, or any other model for that matter, aren’t clear yet. We expect the most affordable variant to ship with at least 512GB of storage.

The laptop will be available at multi-brand outlets across the country, HP’s online store, and the HP World Stores, where buyers can check the product in person. Those who purchase the laptop could also get the HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 headset worth Rs. 6,097 at Rs. 499.
