HP Slate 8 Plus Announced For India

HP has recently made headlines on our blog with the news of the confirmation of the launch of two new tablets in the Indian electronics market. As mentioned earlier, one of the two tablets is HP Slate 7 Voice Tab Ultra which comes with 7 inch LTPS display powered by a quad core HiSilicon Kirin processor. HP Slate 7 Voice Tab Ultra is expected to land in Indian market with a price tag of INR 29,990. HP Slate 7 Voice Tab Ultra is to be accompanied by another newbie, HP Slate 8 Plus, which is another high ened tablet with an 8 inch display.

HP Slate 8 Plus features Android Jellybean 4.2 OS platform along with Emotion UI 2.0. The smartphone houses a 1.6 GHz quad core HiSilicon Kirin SoC with a Mali 40 GPU for an enhanced graphic appeal. 1 GB of RAM supports the processor to make multitasking a swift process. An expandable in built storage of 16 GB comes onboard with a microSD card slot for support of microSD cards up to 32 GB. It flaunts an 8 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. A 5 MP auto focus rear facing camera and a 1 MP front shooter sum up the camera specs on the device. The tablet comes with 4G LTE support as well.
