HP Introduces OmniBook And EliteBook AI Laptops Powered Snapdragon X Elite SoCs In India

HP has launched one of the first Snapdragon X Elite-powered laptops in India: the OmniBook X AI PC and the EliteBook Ultra AI PC. While the former focuses on retail consumers, such as professionals and creators, the latter caters to enterprises, corporations, or government officials. Let’s have a quick look at the specifications and price of the new AI-capable laptops. Both laptops are Copilot+ ready.

HP OmniBook X AI PC Specifications

The OmniBook X AI PC sports a 14-inch 2.2K IPS anti-glare screen that supports 300 nits of peak brightness. Regarding color accuracy, the panel supports a 100 percent sRGB color gamut.

Under the hood, the laptop features Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 (up to 3.4GHz peak performance, 12 performance cores), along with the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. Regarding memory and storage, the laptop features 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCle Gen4 M.2 SSD.

Regarding connectivity options, the laptop features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port, and headphone/microphone audio. Powering the device is a 59Wh Li-ion polymer fast-charging battery that juices up to 50 percent in 30 minutes and claims to provide up to 26 hours of video playback. In the box, users get an HP Smart 65W USB Type-C adapter.

Regarding audio, the laptop features dual stereo speakers (along with dual-array microphones). Further, the laptop also has a 5MP IR camera. Other details include a full-size backlit keyboard, HP Imagepad, Windows 11 Pro operating system, and a one-year limited warranty.

HP OmniBook X AI PC Price

The HP OmniBook X AI PC starts from Rs. 1,39,999 and is available via the HP World stores, online store, and other retail outlets in the country, including Vijay Sales, Croma, and Reliance Digital.

HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC Specifications

The EliteBook Ultra AI PC comes with a 14-inch 2.2K IPS touch-enabled screen that features Gorilla Glass protection and 300 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, this laptop also features the same Snapdragon X Elite processor, along with similar RAM and storage.

Regarding connectivity options, the EliteBook features Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, one USB Type-A port, two USB Type-C ports, and a headphone/microphone jack. The web camera is similar, albiet with a camera privacy shutter. Then there’s a similar battery, dual speakers, HP Audio Boost, mic mute key, and TPM support.

The EliteBook Ultra AI PC is available for Rs. 1,69,934. Currently, the model is available for pre-booking through the HP online store.
