The Control Center on an iPhone provides quick access to various settings, including mobile internet, Wi-Fi, Airplane mode, AirDrop, and more. However, the tool could pose a security risk, especially in the wrong hands. You see, the Control Center of an iPhone is accessible even when the handset is locked, enabling bad actors or malicious users to manipulate a device’s network settings.

For instance, one could enable airplane mode so that the device isn’t reachable with a call. To prevent this from happening, Apple gives you an option to show or hide the Control Center from the lock screen. Hence, if you’re concerned about your device’s security, especially since it contains a lot of personal information, follow the steps given below to lock the Control Center.
