Honor has officially launched its new and trendy View 20 in India. The Chinese giant had its phone’s home debut back in December and also had a global launch in Paris on January 22, 2019. Honor View 20 or known as V20 in China packs modish design and trending features. The idea is to compete aginst the likes of Oneplus 6T in the premium mid-range smartphone segment.

The headline factor of Honor View 20 would be its hole-punch display which has become a buzzword in the smartphone world. A 4.5mm 25MP selfie snapper is housed in this hole-punch. Furthermore an All-view 6.4-inch Full HD+ (1080×2310 pixels) display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio ensures slender bezels and large screen surface. Honor is definitely in its element when it comes to the looks.
The back is equally interesting. A whopping 48-megapixel shooter with the Sony IMX596 image sensor would take care of the rear camera photography. It works on pixel binning technology that combines four pixels into one super pixel to produce better photos. AI is baked into the optics which can recognize over 60 categories and 1500 scenarios in real time. So, the neural intelligence lurks under the hood improving not just the photography but other aspects too.

Honor has incorporated a TOF (Time-of-Flight) 3D depth sensor that manages depths in your portrait shots. You could also play with the slo-mo shots at 960fps with this camera.
The Kirin 980 SoC could horsepower your phone in your real-life phone usage. The internals also boasts a mammoth 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
On the software side, it features Android 9.0 Pie with Huawei’s indigenous Magic UI skin. The Link Turbo feature is a prime example of the convenient features of View 20’s software. This seamlessly connects the device to the best available connectivity option among 4G and Wi-Fi. You are likely to love the Advanced GPS feature (based on AI dual frequency) and the GPU based turbo-gaming feature.

The 6GB RAM +128GB storage variant of Honor View 20 is available in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue at a starting price of Rs. 37999. This base variant of Honor View 20 would be available via Amazon India and Honor India website starting today midnight. You could grab it offline through Reliance Digital starting from February. As a launch offer, Honor is bundling an in-house AM61 Bluetooth earphone for those who pre-book the phone.
Additionally, there is an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant under the Moschino Co-Design edition which comes in Phantom Blue color at Rs. 45,999. This too would be coming soon to Amazon India.
