HONOR continues to bring practical innovation to young consumers in India and around the world, and its latest HONOR MagicWatch 2 takes several meaningful steps to improve user experience. The unique wearable, which was launched on 14th January in an event in New Delhi is loaded with efficient fitness tracking and other smart features, without compromising on the elegance of a proper premium watch that you wouldn’t mind accessorizing with. Keeping different wrist sizes and preferences in mind, HONOR brings MagicWatch 2 in two dial sizes – 42mm and 46mm. So, what really impressed us? Let’s talk about some of the top features that make the HONOR MagicWatch 2 (46mm) an irresistible buy.

Elegant yet tough

The HONOR MagicWatch 2 casts its first spell with its premium design. It comes in two exquisite design options – Charcoal Black and Flax Brown. The MagicWatch 2 has a circular dial complimented by a tachymeter. There are two crowns on the left that assist with intuitive navigation across the interface. In order to support advanced fitness tracking, HONOR had to add a number of sensors, but these are all well concealed at the bottom.

HONOR has crafted this beauty with airplane grade, 316L Stainless Steel, which is to assure that the MagicWatch 2 is made to last.

Gorgeous OLED screen

Coming to the main touchpoint of watch experience, there’s a gorgeous AMOLED display of 1.39-inches with a 454 x 454 resolution. They are pretty visible irrespective of lighting conditions, which is a must for any watch. You get to choose between a curation of watch faces to give the MagicWatch 2 a personal touch. The option to set slideshow of your personal gallery is simply icing on the cake. It is refreshing to be welcomed by different photos every time you raise the wrist.

HONOR has offered an always-on display feature too which let you glance at the time in analog and digital mode. This is quick and convenient as now you know the time without blowing up the lumen. The active display is appealing in light of color faces. Plus, it hardly gnaws on the battery.

Pro Activity Tracking

The essence of the HONOR Watch 2 is its focus on accurate and convenient activity tracking. For starters, the 15 built-in goal-based tracking modes cover a wide range of workouts including running, cycling, swimming, hiking, etc.

The watch has dual-frequency GPS to map your runs and also has a running app that offers 13 different running courses with real-time voice guidance. And yes, the MagicWatch 2 can also proactively monitor your heart rate and VO2Max to optimize safe training. Not to forget the SpO2 sensor that keeps a track of the oxygen level in your blood.

Into swimming? HONOR has got you covered. 5ATM water resistance lets you wear it, while you are swimming. Along with monitoring your heart rate, it records SWOLF Score, distance, speed, and calories burnt. It further comes equipped with HUAWEI TruSeen™ 3.5 uses AI algorithm and innovative light path technology to give you real-time monitoring of Heart-rate.

The body needs as much rest as the workout you do. What is that ‘much’ for you? HONOR’s latest – HONOR MagicWatch 2 will help you with your sleep and relaxation with the help of TruSleep and TruRelax features. Not enough? The features as built in-house and among the best trackers in the industry. In short measurement, accuracy and making suggestions for the best of your health is the thing for this brand.

Apart from workouts, it can help you wind down with some breathing exercises and also guide you for the recovery time your body needs before the next training session. Of course, the Huawei Health app logs and analysis your stats in detail and you can always check the app for useful personalized insights.

Impressive battery mileage

The new HONOR watch surely does some magic when it comes to battery life. It lives up to 14-day battery life promise which is impressive to say the least.

The credit for this spectacular mileage goes to the custom-designed Kirin A1 chipset that drives the MagicWatch 2. This SoC has been designed in-house keeping wearable use case in mind and has been properly tuned with the watch software – which consequently makes it fast and efficient.

MagicWatch 2 further has 4GB inbuilt storage, which means you can carry your music and control it from your wrist, without lugging your phone in your pocket. This is something you’d certainly appreciate during intense workout sessions.

On-wrist Calling

HONOR MagicWatch 2 brings built-in Bluetooth calling function thanks to an on-device mic and speaker. This means with a lift of your wrist, you can check who is calling and even respond. It is relatively simple and quicker than picking up the phone, unlock it and answering – especially when you are working out.

Apart from some of the highlights that we have mentioned, the HONOR MagicWatch 2 integrates several useful smart features like Find my phone, notification access, alarms, timers, DND mode and more. And you get all these covetable features for a very aggressive price.

The HONOR MagicWatch 2 is available in India on Amazon and INR 12,999 for the Charcoal Black variant and INR 14,999 for the Flax Brown variant. Buyers can avail an instant 10% using SBI Credit Card as a payment option. Keep in mind, the instant discount is only applicable between 12:00 PM onwards on 18th January for the Amazon Prime members and 19th to 22nd January 2020 for all the consumers.

To further sweeten the deal, the company bundles a free HONOR AM61 Bluetooth earphones. There’s also a 6-month No Cost EMI option available for purchases made from all leading credit and debit cards.
