Huawei’s online subbrand, honor, has unleashed its new mid-range, Honor 9 Lite, in India. The phone is, basically, a younger sibling of Honor’s 9i that was launched last year.
Just like its elder brother, the Honor 9 Lite flaunts a near bezel-less 18:9 display and sports dual-cameras, both at the front and rear. Another major highlight of the phone is its compact glass and metal body

Honor 9 Lite Features
As for the specification, the ‘Lite’ version Honor 9i comes with a 5.66-inch full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixel) resolution. Under the hood, the Honor 9 Lite is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core Kirin 659 processor. The phone comes in two variants: one with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage, while the second will feature 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.
At the software front, the dual-sim Honor 9 Lite runs on company’s latest EMUI 8.0 on top of Android Oreo. The fingerprint sensor is on the rear panel of the phone.

For shutterbugs, the Honor 9 Lite boasts 13MP sensor combined with an extra 2MP sensor on both front and the back. As is the case with Honor’s devices, the added sensor is for the depth information and low-light photography. Other features of the cameras include bokeh mode, PDAF and flash.
The Honor 9 Lite has a battery capacity of 3000mAh, while other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Honor 9 Lite Price and Availability
The Honor 9 Lite is a Flipkart exclusive. The 3GB +32GB variant of the Honor 9 Lite is priced at Rs 10,999 while the top variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB retails at Rs 14,999. It will be available starting January 21.
