Google Pixel Watch 3 Surfaces on FCC Database: Launch Expected in August 2024

Google has already confirmed the date for its 2024 ‘Made For Google’ Event. The brand is set to host its Hardware event on 13th August, announcing Google Pixel 9 Series devices, next-generation Google Foldable, and Google Pixel Buds. The recent update is that Google will launch the Pixel Watch 3 at the hardware event. The smartwatch recently debuted on the FCC certification website, revealing more about the upcoming wearable.

Google Pixel Watch 3

The FCC listing reveals that Google will announce the upcoming smartwatch with the GBD09, GGE4J, GG3HH, and GRY0E model numbers. The different model numbers mostly belong to 41mm and 45mm variants with multiple connectivity options. The database model numbers confirm that GBD09 and GRY0E model numbers will debut with LTE and UWB connectivity.

Along with LTE connectivity, Google will load the Pixel Watch 3 with 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC.

The other two model numbers GGE4J and GG3HH models of Pixel Watch 3 will only come with Ultrawideband, dual WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC.

The GRY0E, GBD09, GGE4J, and GG3HH have also been confirmed to debut with GPS support. Some renders for Pixel Watch 3 also surfaced a few days ago that showcased the design of Pixel Watch 3. It will come in black and some other shades.

The 3^rd generation Pixel Watch 3 is tipped to feature a round 1.2-inch display with a rotating crown. It is expected to run on WearOS and come with various health-tracking sensors. The dimensions are expected to be 40.79×40.73x14mm and it is expected to pack a 307mAh battery.

This time the Google Pixel 9 Series is said to include not two but four smartphones- Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel Watch 3XL, and Pixel Watch Pro Fold 9. More will be known as the launch date gets closer.
