Google has continuously been making waves this month. At first, the brand launched Google Pixel 8a in the first week of May post which it hosted the Google I/O 2024 on 14^th May. Now, the next big launch by Google will be the annual Google Pixel 9 Series which will launch later this year. The Google Pixel 9 Series will be different this time as it will include not two, but four devices. Reportedly Google Pixel 9 Series will include Pixel 9, and Pixel 9 Pro, along with two new models Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The color options as well as wallpapers of these upcoming devices have surfaced online which give an idea about how they will look and feel.

Google Pixel 9 Series: Color Variants Tipped

Leaks claim that the Google Pixel 9 Series will come in new colors this time besides the Obsidian and Porcelain shades.

Google Pixel 9 will come in Jade and Peony colors along with Obsidian and Porcelain shades.
Google Pixel 9 Pro will come in Hazel and Rose colors along with Obsidian and Porcelain shades.
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will be available in similar Hazel and Rose shades along with Obsidian and Porcelain colors.
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold which will be a foldable smartphone will reportedly come in gold shade that might be called Porcelain or Gold alongside the standard Obsidian shade.

Reports also claim that the Pixel 9 will have a glossy finish on the back cover while Pixel 9 Pro will have a matte finish on the rear panel. Both models will bring changes to the camera module as well.

Google Pixel 9 Series: Wallpapers

Each year Google introduces a new theme with its smartphones. In 2023 the theme was minerals whereas for 2024, the theme is tipped to be “Swirling Petals” described as “a swirling display of abstract florals”.

The wallpapers that have leaked feature a translucent look with petal-shaped blobs of color around the screen. The colors are contrasting but not vibrant which is common for default wallpapers. There are light as well as dark versions of each wallpaper.

The leaked wallpapers feature the following color options-

Pixel 9 Pro & Pixel 9 Pro XL Wallpapers– Hazel, Obsidian, Porcelain and Rose

Google Pixel 9 Series: Expected specs

Google Pixel 9 Series is expected to feature AMOLED screens with up to 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by the latest Tensor G4 chipset. These will run Android 15 OS and support Artificial Intelligence features as well.
