Chinese social networking site Weibo has thrown up renders of Google’s much awaited flagship, to be called the Pixel 2, in a series of photographs showcasing it in its full glory.

Prima facie, the purported successor to the highly acclaimed Pixel appears to be built along the same lines as its predecessor, but a closer look points out a few changes here and there.

On the back, a dual camera setup replaces the single unit that was in the original and both the cameras are placed side by side, as opposed to one followed by the other, as we see in most phones.

The camera unit is flanked by an LED flash and is followed by a fingerprint senor, same as its previous version.

Up front, the size of the phone’s chin has been considerably reduced in favor of a bigger screen and even lesser bezels and is devoid of any physical buttons. The buttons for controlling the volume as well as the home button are located on the Pixel 2’s right side while the place for inserting the SIM(s) has been allocated to the left.

A USB Type-C port accompanies the 3.5mm headphone on bottom of the phone, which is presented on Weibo in a whole lot of colors that include Gold, Carbon, Graphite, Silver, Grey, Blue and White.

Well that was that about the hardware of the newest edition of Google’s Pixel, which has been outed pretty quickly considering the fact that is not been too long since the original version (and Pixel XL) came out.

Let us know what you think of the renders. Which color looks most appealing? Or is it still too early to say anything?
