A couple of days back, Android Police reported that two of its independent sources almost confirmed that the search engine giant would drop Nexus name for its own Pixel brand in the upcoming Google smartphones manufactured by HTC. Once again based on reliable sources, Android Police has reported that Google is likely to unveil two new Pixels smartphones along with 4K Chromecast and Daydream VR at an event on October 4. The publication claims Google may also showcase its Google Home, a smart speaker-like personal assistant which the company is looking to pitch against Amazon’s Echo.
