Google Duplex is an amazing feat of technology, an extension of Google Assistant that enables the AI to naturally converse and carry out “real world” tasks over the phone. Until recently, the groundbreaking feature was exclusive to Pixel phones only. Now, Google would be rolling it out for non-Pixel phones like Samsung Galaxy S10 in the US of America.

Currently, the major use case scenario of Duplex is scheduling certain types of appointments. Google Assistant could call, talk like a normal person and schedule appointments or reservations for you without going through the hassles of online booking systems.

Initially, the feature was made available in selected devices in selected cities in the US. Then, last month Google expanded the umbrella covering 47 states of the USA. Now, the reputed tech source XDA developers affirm the feature update in their Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.

We would update you once the feature surfaces in India. And as more and more devices get the Duplex integration, its popularity is bound to boost. We agree with Google when they say, “We hope that these technological advances will ultimately contribute to a meaningful improvement in people’s experience in day-to-day interactions with computers.”
