The initiative sees Bollywood Stars like Rajkumar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, and Rana Dagubatti endorsing the new endeavors that Google will undertake.

Google has launched a cybersecurity upskilling program for 100,000 developers, IT, and start-up professionals across the country to tackle the growing cyberattacks.

It will organize a multi-city hybrid format Cyber Security Roadshow under this program with a target to reach nearly 100,000 developers, IT, and start-up professionals. They will be given unique tools, detailed guidance, and taught best practices for developing safer applications. A foundational curriculum will also be integrated into the annual DevFest and within the Android and Cloud Series for Startups and Other programs.

Google has joined hands with MEITY, Digital Corporation, and a few leading bands of India to launch a multilingual user awareness campaign on ways to adopt better digital transaction practices amongst internet users.

Google has taken into account the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community and senior citizens as well. To give them better digital skilling support, Google has declared grants of USD 2 million to 3 NGOs namely the Collective Good Foundation, HelpAge India, and Point of View. The partnership with CGF aims to reach over 900,000 women and LGBTQIA+ people with a specially designed training curriculum and resources to protect them from online risks. The content will be available in English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, and Marathi. The Point of View NGO has been given the task of expansion of TechSakhi- a digital safety helpline for women and LGBTQ internet users. For the senior citizens to stay safe online, Google will make a grant to HelpAge India to reach 50,000 senior citizens with digital safety training.

Google has also partnered with CBSE to strengthen its Internet Awesome Program. It is a free online program that teaches kids to become smart and safe internet users.

Google has also launched ProtectingChildren.Google website that is a child safety toolkit available in Bengali, Hindi, and Tamil.
