A “Completely Flat” New Look

The most striking revelation from the teaser is the camera bar. After years of the iconic “visor” bump, the Pixel 10a appears to feature a camera module that sits completely flush with the rear chassis. This streamlined aesthetic, spotted in the “Iris” blue-purple hue and a bold new “Berry” colorway, marks the first time a modern Pixel might lie perfectly flat on a table without wobbling.

Under the Hood: Evolution, Not Revolution?

While the exterior gets a polish, the internals are expected to remain familiar. The Pixel 10a is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a 5,100mAh battery. However, speculation remains rife regarding the processor. Unlike the flagship Pixel 10’s anticipated Tensor G5, industry insiders suggest the 10a may stick with the older Tensor G4 to keep costs down. Camera hardware also appears consistent with its predecessor, retaining the 48MP main and 13MP ultrawide setup, though enhanced by Google’s latest Gemini AI tricks.

Pricing and Availability

Instead of going with an I/O 2026 launch, Google is pushing the Pixel 10a launch ahead of schedule. Pre-orders open on February 18, with retail availability likely following in early March. Pricing is expected to hold steady at $499 (Rs 45,000), making the Pixel 10a a safe bet for Android purists.

We will have full coverage of the specs and hands-on impressions as soon as the device lands later this month.
