Gionee Marathon M5 Plus is the new addition to Gionee India’s Marathon portfolio that puts emphasis on sizeable batteries. You can buy Gionee Marathon M5 Plus online exclusively on Flipkart or via offline retail stores for 26,999 INR.

Within its metallic exterior is housed a 5020 mAh battery with dual charging chip set-up to top it up. On the software side, there are Eco Mode, Power Saving Mode, Extreme Mode to help you manage it. Surprisingly, a pedestrian MT6753 octa-core SoC will be tapping this abundant power supply and rendering Android Lollipop based Amigo 3.1 UI on the 6-inch Full HD display.

Due attention has been paid to the design. On the front there is 2.5D touch glass layered on the AMOLED ‘water drop display’ (We suspect that has something to do with the oleophobic coating). And on the rear metallic surface you will find a symmetrically placed camera.

Other notable features include 4G LTE, fingerprint sensor, 128GB MicroSD card support, 13.0MP + 5.0MP camera, dual SIM support and USB Type C port.
