Gionee Launches Pioneer P5W With 5-Inch Display In India

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has once again expanded its portfolio with the launch of a new smartphone Pioneer P5W in India. This is company’s third device after Pioneer P5mini and Pioneer P5L which has docked on Indian shores this month. The phone is currently priced at Rs. 6,499 and will be available from official Gionee website. It is available in Red, White, Black, Blue, and Yellow colour options.

Intrestingly, Pioneer P5W is already listed on a number of e-commerce websites in India including Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal. In terms of specification, the Gionee Pioneer P5W comes with a 5-inch IPS display with 720×1280 HD resolution and 294 ppi pixel density. At the heart of it lies a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735 chipset along with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

Pioneer P5WIn the optics department, it features a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash at back, and a 2-megapixel selfie camera at the front. The phone runs on Amigo 3.1 OS which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Backed by a 2000mAh battery, Gionee Pioneer P5W supports 3G, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi as connectivity options.
