How to Get On-Screen Navigational Buttons on Capacitive Button Smartphone

The reason why most people prefer Off-screen or Capacitive navigational buttons over the On-screen buttons on their smartphone is that the former gives you that extra useable screen space to utilize.

But, the Off-screen buttons have the disadvantages of its own. They are prone to damages, and if so, your navigating experience through the Android interface becomes a tedious chore. Worry not! we are here to assist you. If your mechanical home button or capacitive navigation keys are on the fritz, you can use this alternative to navigate your phone.

How to Get On-screen Navigational Buttons on the Capacitive Buttons on Any Phone

Step 1: To have On-screen buttons, download and install Virtual SoftKeys (no root) app from the Google Play Store. The app is designed to activate on-screen button feature which is turned off by OEMs.

Step 2: Once installation part is over, open the app and grant the “Accessibility” permission to the app. Next, tap on the “Go to Settings” button on the popup that appears when you launch the app. Next, select and enable the Virtual Sofrkeys entry Accessibility menu. Lastly, press “OK” on the popup to confirm your choice.

Step 3: That’s it. You will see a semi-transparent red navigational bar across at the bottom of your screen. Tap on the red bar and there you have it on-screen navigational buttons in your phone. You can even tweak with the look and feel of your on-screen buttons from VirtualSoftKeys app.
