Ever since OnePlus 2 got listed on Amazon India in July, getting an invite for this phone was a prerequisite for all the android enthusiasts. The company received quite a bantering via various platform due to a shortage of invitation after making loud claims prior to official launch. Like OnePlus One, consumers around the world have been finding it really difficult to get hold of this powerful smartphone, as invites are still pretty hard to come by.

Dubbed as 2016 flagship killer by the manufacturer, the phone sports a 5.5-inch in-cell FHD display with 401 ppi pixel density. The LTPS LCD display carries a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 layer on top for some extra protection. At the heart of it is present a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with an Adreno 430 GPU. The killer phone also boasts of 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage. A curtailed version of OP2 comes with 16GB of onboard storage and 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. This Oxygen operating system based phone comes fitted with 13-megapixel (MP) primary camera with dual LED flash, and a 5-MP front camera.

This open sale of OnePlus two is happening just a day before the official launch of Google’s Nexus 5X in India. Potentially this open sale could hamper Nexus 5X sales figures as both the phones features in the same high-end phone category.
