Samsung Galaxy Note-series generally debut some time in August every year. While we are still months away from any official announcement, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ 5G showed up on Geekbench.

In its first-ever appearance on Geekbench, Samsung’s flagship phablet hits impressive single-core and multi-core numbers. The Galaxy Note 20+ clocks 985 on the Single-Core test and 3220 on the Multi-Core test on Geekbench.

Alleged Samsung Note 20+ 5G Geekbench listing

The supposed 5G variant of Galaxy Note 20+ also casts light on some of the key elements of the phone. As per Geekbench listing, Samsung phablet comes with model code SM-N986U, and is based on Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon processor similar to Galaxy S20+. While the exact name of the Chipset is not mentioned in the listing, IceUniverse, a noted Samsung-related leak source, earlier confirmed it’d be powered by Snapdragon 865+.

The Galaxy Note 20+ 5G comes with 8GB of RAM as per the Geekbench listing. This is in contrast to Samsung Galaxy S20 series 5G phones where 12GB of RAM was standard all through. It is highly unlikely that Samsung cut’s down memory on its upcoming flagship device.

There is a possibility that the alleged listing is based on pre-production models which runs on unoptimized software and hardware. Or even that the listing is completely fake. So, it is advised that you take these rather obvious Galaxy Note 20+ specs with a grain of salt.
