Flipkart and Asus have a long history of selling ‘disruptive’ phones and they have further strengthened their collaboration with the announcement of Asus Zenfone Max Pro. Both brands were very selective with their words and they have on purpose only revealed that the Zenfone Max Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 636. Or in other words, Asus is planning to take on the currently in demand Redmi Note 5 Pro head on.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro Features and Specifications

Apart from the chipset not much is in public domain about the phone. We expect the phone to follow the prevailing trends like dual cameras and full-view display, and with Snapdragon 636 mobile processor under the hood, it is likely to be a mid-range device.

It will be the successor to Asus’s Zenfone Max Pro from last year which was launched under the Zenfone 4 series banner. The Zenfone Max 4 Pro had a 5.5-inch IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 mobile platform, 3GB of RAM and a 5,000mAh battery. It was offered with 16-megapixel cameras on both front and the back.
