Fitbit has introduced a new fitness band that has a lot of stuff in its belly. It comes with a built-in GPS, 24/7 heart rate tracking, the 7-day worth of juice, and a lot more. Now, as you may know, Google is in the process of acquiring Fitbit. The agreement was first announced back in November. Ever since then, this is the first Fitbit.

First things first, this one has an in-built GPS, which will track even your outdoor activities. Speaking of which, it comes with 20+ goal-based exercise modes, 7 GPS-enabled exercise modes. Charge 4 will generate a GPS-powered heat map, which you can sync with the phone and have a better visual analysis of how you perform on varied terrains.

You not only get a 24/7 tab on your heart rate but also a new personalized standard called Active Zone Minutes. This as the name suggests, draws heart rate zones based on the effort put on different activities.

Then there is the SpO2 sensor for monitoring the blood oxygen levels.

Upfront, you have a touchscreen experience with interactive graphics. Charge 4 offers up to seven days of battery life and when on continuous GPS, the band will march up to 5 hours tops.

Among other things, the feature list also includes sleep tracker, smart wake (coming soon), movement reminder, Spotify Control, and Fitbit Pay.

The Fitbit Charge 4 has been launched at Rs. 14,999 in India. Grab it via both offline and online stores. It comes in Black, Rosewood and Storm Blue/Black colors. For an extra Rs. 2000, you could buy the Charge 4 Special Edition with a granite reflective/black woven band plus a classic black band.

As an introductory offer and considering the current times, Fitbit is offering an extended 90-day trial of Fitbit Premium, which gives access to its curated programs, classes, and personalized challenges.
