Over the years, Realme’s number series phones have worked the best, making them crucial for the brand’s entire portfolio. The Realme 12 series, for instance, consists of five models, each targeting a slightly different price category than the other. Now, Realme’s looking forward to expanding its number series lineup later this year. We have gained some credible information that the Realme 13 Pro series India launch will happen this festive season.
From what it looks like, the brand wants to encash the Dushera and Diwali festivities and the huge online sales accompanying the occasion. For now, the brand is eyeing to set the Realme 13 Pro series launch date sometime in September.
Realme 13 Pro Series Release Date
As per credible sources, Realme will launch its number series before the festive season in India. The Realme 13 Pro series India launch will take place sometime in September 2024.
Realme 13 Pro Series Availability

Like the other Realme number series smartphones, the Realme 13 Pro will be available exclusively via Flipkart, the popular e-commerce platform. We’ve also learned that the brand would align the launch with Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale 2024, which usually takes place a month before the Indian festival of lights, Diwali.
Since Diwali is occurring earlier this year (compared to last year), the Realme 13 Pro series is expected to be launched in September 2024. This will succeed the current Realme 12 Pro series, which consists of two models.

Realme 13 Pro/Pro+ Could Arrive First

The brand could initially introduce two smartphones from the upcoming series: the Realme 13 Pro and the Realme 13 Pro+. These models will offer the best specifications and hardware across the lineup. Our information aligns with what’s been in the news lately: the Realme 13 Pro+.
- For instance, there have been rumors about the phone’s arrival in China next month.
- The Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station posted about the smartphone on the microblogging platform Weibo. He stated that Realme is working on two smartphones, the Realme 13 Pro+ and the Realme GT6 (the global retail box images of which were earlier shared by SmartPrix).
- Per the tipster, the Realme 13 Pro+ will house a new 50MP 3x periscope camera. Currently, the Realme 12 Pro+ ships with a 64MP (f/2.8) periscope telephoto lens that provides 3x optical zoom, which gives the handset an edge over others in the segment.
- The Realme 13 Pro+ is likely to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor made by Goodix.
Later, the brand could add the Realme 13 and the Realme 13+ to the series (like the current Realme 12 lineup) as the more affordable versions of the Pro models. The current number series also consists of the Realme 12x 5G, so there’s a chance that the company will introduce a Realme 13x at some point as well.

Realme 12 Pro And Realme 12 Pro+ Specifications

Since the Realme 13 Pro models will take the baton from the current models, here’s a quick recap of their specifications. The Realme 12 Pro/Pro+ ships with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 950 nits of peak brightness (an aspect that the 13 Pro series should work on).
While the 12 Pro (review) runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC (4nm), the 12 Pro+ (review) runs on a slightly more powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC (4nm). Hence, there’s a good chance the company will retain Snapdragon chipsets in the upcoming Realme 13 Pro series.
Another difference between the smartphones is the telephoto camera. The 12 Pro features a 32MP (f/2.0) telephoto sensor for 2x optical zoom, while the 12 Pro+ features a 64MP (f/2.8) telephoto sensor for 3x optical zoom. Apart from this, the battery (5,000 mAh) and connectivity options remain the same on both phones.
To sum up, the Realme 13 Pro series could arrive in India as soon as September 2024, with the Pro series entering the market before the regular models. Further, the phones could feature a multi-cam setup, headlined with a higher-resolution periscope sensor. Last but not least, we expect the Realme 13 Pro models to feature Snapdragon processors.
