Coolpad has been missing from Indian mobile phone landscape for some time. After the disastrous LeEco chapter, the Chinese smartphone maker is trying to re-establish itself as a prominent player in the market. Last week the company announced the Coolpad Cool Play 7 in China and now we have got hold of exclusive Coolpad Mega 5A retail box images.

The Coolpad Mega 5A retail box reveals most of the specs and features of the phone. As per the details mentioned on the retail box, the biggest USP of Mega 5A is likely to be its 5.45-inch HD+display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The box image reveals that the Coolpad Mega 5A will be powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz mobile processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There’s a possibility that Coolpad also introduces a 3GB RAM variant of the phone. The phone will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It also features a fast fingerprint sensor and 2500mAh non-removable battery.

As for the optics, the Coolpad Mega 5A includes a dual rear camera setup of 8MP+0.3MP and 5MP on the front. The MRP mentioned on the retail box is Rs 8,999 but we are certain that the launch price will be much closer to the Xiaomi Redmi 5A.
