Chinese smartphone brand, Coolpad has slashed prices of its three popular smartphones Cool 1, Note 5 and Note 5 Lite in India. The Cool 1 3GB RAM variant now retails at Rs 7,999 whereas its higher variant at Rs. 8,999. Other than this, Note 5 and Note 5 Lite prices are down to Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 5,999, respectively. On price cut, Coolpad CEO, Mr. Syed, has to say that “The price cut is a great opportunity for customers to buy best selling Coolpad smartphones at a much affordable price and we are positive that we will receive a great response from the discount offered.”

Coolpad Cool 1 Specifications
To recap on the specification, Coolpad Cool 1 (Review) was launched in two RAM variants: 3GB and 4GB RAM option. Under the hood, the phone employs a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa-core processor and 32GB ROM.
In optics, the Cool 1 sports pair of 13 MP sensor on the rear with autofocus and dual tone LED flash. Up front, it has an 8 MP camera for selfies. The smartphone is powered by a massive 4000mAh battery and runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box.

Coolpad Note 5 and Note 5 Lite Specifications
Meanwhile, the Coolpad Note 5 (Review) features a 5.5-inch FHD display (1920 x 1080) and powered by Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 4GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory. The phone boasts an 8 MP front-facing camera with LED Flash and a 13 MP primary shooter and packs a 4000mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite (Review) offers a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display, a MediaTek MT6735 processor, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and microSD card support for expandable memory. The Note 5 Lite also uses an aluminium-magnesium alloy making it durable and sturdy yet lightweight at 148g.
