LG has announced its TV line-up for the year 2022 at the ongoing CES event. The line-up includes refreshed OLEDs and a variety of Mini LED QNEDs. The new launches include the smallest OLED TV as well as the brightest OLED TV as well.

LG OLED evo TVs 2022 edition

LG’s 2022 OLED TV line-up comes with LG G2 Gallery Series TV with OLED evo G perched on the top shelf. The G2 will improve heat dissipation technology which will give panels a brighter display without burn-in. OLED evo will come in 97-inch, 83-inch, 77-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch sizes.

The LG C2 OLED evo comes below the G2 category and comes in 83-inch, 77-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch configurations. The 48-inch and 42-inch sizes will use standard OLED panels and will be the smallest ever OLED TVs.

LG G2 OLED will have svelte chassis, whereas C2 OLED will have thinner bezels and will weigh much lighter because of are made of composite fiber material. Both will get an upgrade from 5.1.2 channel to 7.1.2 channel sound,  have HDMI 2.1 ports and come with Alpha 9 Gen 5 Processor 4K.

LG 8K and 4K OLED TVs

LG has come up with 8K and 4K TV sets too. The 8K TV comes in 2 sizes 88-inch and 77-inch but is a hard sell considering its high price & limited content problem 8K TVs face.

The LG B2 OLED TV and LG A2 OLED TV use the Alpha 7 Gen 5 processor. The B2 one has a 120Hz panel and gets the same 7.1.2 channel audio upgrade, while A2 has a 60Hz panel and doesn’t have any HDMI 2.1 ports. It sticks to the 5.1.2 channel sound. The B2 comes in 77-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch sizes whereas A2 comes in 77-inch, 65-inch, and 48-inch sizes.

LG Mini LED QNED TVs

This year LG QNED Mini LED comes in 90, 85, and 80-inches options with 4k quality. They claim to give the OLED experience a consistent picture up to 30 degrees off-axis. Each size has a different degree of precision dimming.

There are quite a few updates to LG TVs that are launched. The name of the Web OS name is modified from 6.0 to 22, representing the year from this point onwards. When you are not watching anything, the LG 2022 TV’s Always Ready tool is an ambient mode that displays art, photos, or a music player.
