At CES, Lenovo has brought forward the Vibe S1 Lite, which as the name suggest is a trimmed down variant of the popular Vibe S1 with a $199 price tag. The Vibe S1 put its dual front camera setup on the saddle, but that’s something missing in the Lite variant.
Vibe S1 Lite still flaunts an 8 MP camera with large 1/3.2 “sensor size, large 1.4 Micron pixels to capture more light, a 5P lens (fixed focus though) and an LED flash. That should make a convincing case for selfie loving audience.

Another thing you will be settling for is MT6753 quad core chipset, with 8 Cortex A53 cores ticking at 1.3 GHz, the same one Lenovo is using in K4 Note. The chipset includes 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage as well.
Two features we liked in the Vibe S1 – the 5 Inch Full HD panel, and the metal band that runs along the sides – have made the cut for the Lite variant as well. Lenovo dialed down on the curved back, but that has paved way for a bigger 2700 mAh battery.
True to its lineage, the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is still a selfie focused smartphone, which is targeting basic and moderate users. The Vibe S1 Lite has got our attention and we will be looking forward to its arrival in India (Not likely to happen anytime soon). Meanwhile, Take a look at full set of specifications below.
